Daff

daffs

Things have been a bit weird over at the Noodle House. I can't quite pin point it but I feel that things are changing. There is something brewing inside me that I can't quite figure out right now. It is a mood perhaps, or just the change from winter to spring (and then back again depending on what the weather here in the Biggest Little City wants to do).

There is a bit of melancholy despite the sunshine, the garden playing and the random lunches with some fabulous women lately. I feel like the blog needs a break, but I also feel like writing here is really good for me. so there is a toss up... and that is exactly what the problems are- all these toss ups right now.
I am not quite this, nor quite that.

So where does that leave me? Taking in each day at a time. I might be sparse around here, but don't give up on me dear readers. Check in and say hello if you are in the area.

~~Today is Thursday and I am in love with the daffs that have popped up all over town.

That is a gorgeous picture. I know what you mean about blogging. Some days I've got lots to say, and others I feel like I'm either wordless or letting people down b/c the photos suck or I'm not making any sense...or not telling the truth about my life.

Do what you need to or feel like doing. We're here...never giving up!

PS - I think I'm going to have to go to Reno just to see you and Ani.

such a pretty flower, and fitting for your words today.
the seasonal fence riding is going on here in the northeast also.

well, Miss Noodle, I wait with baited breath for your next installment... I hear ya about that feeling... I get it too, or something like it... I have a horrible wanderlust, and sometimes get the itchiest feet, chest feels heavy, gonna implode! Take care and have fun! Will be checking the flickr for your photos though...

Beautiful flowers. I think I may buy some for myself this weekend. It was nice to check in and see where you are at. Give in to the restlessness. Sometimes it can take us to wonderful places.

i think we all go through that & I think changing seasons has a lot to do with it. i had a friend who used to get really sad in the fall & said it was because as a kid the fall was always a start of something new, with a new school year and such, as an adult we don't get that. As kids spring always meant it was almost time for summer vacation & free time.

love the photo by the way

I love the picture. Sorry to hear that you are struggling, but I always feel so much stronger when things are revealed to me through struggle, I know it sounds strange, but it is true. And people will still be here when you return.

I know that strange malaise too. Not quite this, but not really that either. Take time to breathe in that cool, cleansing air and drink in the brilliant blue sky.

Hugs to you! I want to get together soon. This weekend is all about work *ugh* and next weekend, Hubby is at school...but after that?

KM--c'mon out and visit!!!
