That's a great juxtaposition of those two photos. Both beautiful in their own way -- which is nice, given that we usually think the bulb is just the precursor to the real beauty.
wow, rachel. I hadn't even thought about it like that! so true. I just loved that they were both so simple and clean and natural.. and sitting in the sun on my kitchen counter. :)

yes, but the snow hadn't started to fall when I posted... I got a few really pretty shots this morning while shoveling out though...
